Clivia miniata, Red Ghost. Colorado Clivia's plant no. 77

Red Ghost, Clivia Miniata

$ 80.00

Ghost flowers in Clivia are an interesting phenomenon.  When you first look at the flower it is there.  Then you look again and it appears somewhat transparent.   The mother plant of these divisions or offshoots is genetically a TO Red x Hirao Red cross.  The flower color without the ghost effect would be a dark orange or red.  The mother plant also has long, somewhat narrow leaves.  The leaves average 2 to 2 1/4 inches in width and 24 to 26 inches in length.

The divisions or offshoots for sale here are all 5 to 8 leaf plants.  Under normal care Clivias grow 4 leaves a year.  It typically takes 13 or more leaves to flower, so these these plants are 2 to 3 years from blooming.

These plants will be shipped bare root.  Free shipping is included via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail to continental United States addresses only.  Sorry we do not ship outside of the continental United States.  Please see our Terms and Conditions for additional information on shipping and other matters.
